The page is modifiable and includes, among many others, the following applications and features:
- files folder which stores information on a cloud server, accessible from anywhere, anytime and again from any device
- learn 360: access to thousands of educational videos and video clips, subscribed to by the PDSB
- a link to their class website
- a link to their personal blog where they can create and edit posts for their peers and teachers
- D2L: automatically logs students into their desire to learn account
- office 365, an online collaborative web 2.0 suite of Microsoft office products. Alternatively teachers can modify this to include the suite of Google Apps instead
- a pictures section, allows administrators to upload a series of pictures that play as a slide show, specific to their school (with conformed consent), every time they go to their landing page
- a links section where students can put a list of important sites (twitter, youtube, google etc.)
One of the many benefits of this service is that students are automatically logged into the application they choose for instant access and collaboration. Also, as more applications are created by the board, they will be added to this landing page.
